By Reba Nance—CBA LPM Director
As a solo practitioner or an attorney in a small firm, the CBA knows you have unique needs, which we try to meet through the services provided by the Solo-Small Firm Section. You probably know about the CLEs, the networking events, and of course the listserv. I, however, feel the most important feature of the Solo-Small Firm Section is its ability to share experiences and expertise in solving the hurdles that face so many solos and small firms—without sacrificing the independence that drew you all to that type of practice.
So where can you find this utopia? This wealth of information for managing your own practice, from people who have been there and done that? Right here of course—SOLOinCOLO—a collective resource for all solo and small firm attorneys across the state. This blog is designed and intended to build an online community with posts and links on practice management, marketing, technology, the legal community, and other resources. But the blog’s real highlights are the posts written by Solo-Small Firm Section members, and it is here where we need your help!
Think of the blog as a place to brainstorm, a place to crowd source. It’s about sharing information, whether that is through posts or simply linking to other useful or interesting sites. It is taking the Solo-Small Firm Section’s collective resource—the listserv—to the next level.
If you are interested in writing or simply have a re-post from another source you feel would be of value to our readers, please contact Blog Editor Matthew Aguero.
