The number one call we receive from the public is “I need a lawyer.” What if you could put yourself in front of the public every time they called the CBA to ask for the name of a lawyer? And what if the Find a Lawyer Directory would come up on top when someone Googled “Find Colorado Lawyer”? Your free listing in the Find-a-Lawyer directory accomplishes both! I know lawyers who spend quite a lot of money on marketing, yet they’re not taking advantage of this free resource.
As a CBA member, you may already know you have a basic listing in the directory. But there are so many more pieces of information you can add to differentiate yourself and make it easier for potential clients to find you.

How to Update Your Listing and Add Additional Information
Go to cobar.org, log in and click on the “MyCobar” tab in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage. Then click on “Update your online listing in Find a Lawyer.”
How to Search for a Lawyer
Click on Find a Lawyer on the left-hand side of the our homepage. You will see a variety of search criteria, including region, practice area, name, languages, etc.
Note: When you change your address and contact information with the CBA, you must also update your Find-a-Lawyer listing. Take a minute today to check out your Find a Lawyer listing. Update your information and add information such as your bio, specialty practice area(s), and professional memberships, to assist in your marketing efforts. Remember—free marketing is good!
