The District Court, acting under 28 U.S.C. § 2071(b) and Fed. R. Crim. P. 57, and by a majority of the district judges, has amended its Local Rules of Practice after giving appropriate public notice and opportunity to comment.

The revision to D.C.COLO.LCrR 11.1(b) – “Pleas in a Felony Case” – facilitates implementation of the court’s “Durango and Grand Junction, Colorado Protocol.” Accordingly, the District Court’s Local Rules as a whole are revised and reflect the amendment to D.C.COLO.LCrR 11.1(b). The revised rules are effective May 15, 2015.
